July

Daddy was very busy working in the summer camps in July so mummy and I went on a wee trip to Scotland. We had gorgeous weather and were able to enjoy a lovely day out to Moffat. Even Uncle Stephen was able to come with us and we had a fantastic time.

June

My daddy turned 30 in June. We went on a long car journey to spend the day with family and what a lot of fun we had.

December already!?!

Have I really not posted anything since May? How did that happen? Where did time go? So much has happened and it would take me forever to tell you everything so here are some of the best bits of the last 6 months with lots and lots of pictures! :) Enjoy!

Family Fun

May Day in Miskolc...

It was a hot, sunny day...good thing I had remembered to pack my sunglasses! :)

Fun with Daddy!

Easter in Scotland

Mummy and I had a great time in Scotland over Easter.

Uncle Stephen came to the park with us one day and showed me how to play football.

It was fun, but very tiring.

Hanging out with Grandpa was great...he let me go on walks with him and Amber.

The best day of our holiday was Easter Monday. We spent the day at a lovely park, where there were lots of animals. We had a fantastic time and the highlight of the day was being allowed to feed a lamb some milk all by myself!

I love going to Scotland on my holidays, but I love going home to Hungary too. Which way to the airport mummy? I'm ready to go and see daddy! Teddy's coming too...

Eccentric? What does that mean mummy?

I like helping mummy with the laundry. I get to do all the hard work - packing the clothes in and and out of the laundry bin, while she gets to do all the fun stuff, press all those buttons on the washing machine that I'm not allowed anywhere near! I guess I don't mind it though, it's actually quite a lot of fun. Especially when mummy lets me wear my hat, which I would be happy to wear all day long.

Unless of course my other hat is available, in which case I would prefer to wear that one, with my pajamas and sandals on, of course!

Mummy keeps trying to put my socks on me...she just doesn't understand that feet with socks on don't taste as good as feet without and it's very important to have a wee snack at hand whilst watching TV! :)

Holidays!

I knew something was up when daddy brought this big blue thing into the living room. I threw my drum in there and quickly jumped in after it.

After we were all packed up we got in the car and drove for what felt like forever. The long journey was worth it though. We stayed in a lovely hotel with a huge water park that had a pool especially for little people like me. I had a fantastic time splashing around and even made friends with a turtle.

I kept talking to him, but he didn't say much. He just kept spitting water at me, which I found very entertaining. I'm not sure why mummy wouldn't let me have a taste of the water though. Turtle made it look like so much fun!

The best part about the pool was the slide. I have decided that going down slides is really, really fun and if daddy would have had the energy then I would have happily gone down that slide ALL day long!

On the second day of our holiday, just as we were really starting to enjoy ourselves, I started to feel really ill with an upset tummy. I was sick so many times that daddy had to phone an ambulance to come and take me to hosiptal. Thankfully the hospital was only a few minutes down the road and the Doctors were very kind and helpful. The nurses did all kinds of tests and even stuck some needles in my hand, but I was so tired that I only cried a tiny little bit before falling fast asleep as they took my blood.

I felt much better by the morning and was happy to see some other boys and girls to play with. The Doctor did a few more tests and then said it was ok for me to go home. I was sad that we had to leave the hotel and the pool and come home so quickly. I hope we can go on holiday again soon!

Spaghetti!

Mummy made yummy spaghetti bolognese the other night. It was a little bit difficult to eat but it was sooooooo delicious that I decided it was worth getting messy for!

Daddy even showed me how to suck up a big long noodle. It took me a few tries but I got there in the end. I hope we have spaghetti again soon!

New Shoes

Grandma and Grandpa bought me my very first pair of proper walking shoes when I was on my holidays. They are without a doubt the coolest shoes I've ever seen in my entire life...it's hard to take my eyes off them sometimes! :)

Dressing up

I love getting dressed up and there's been plenty of opportunity for that while we've been here in Scotland.

Grandma helped me with this look...

Peek-a-boo!

Amber loved my Christmas day party dress...

And everyone was impressed with my 'wee angel' outfit.

Presents are fun!

I got some great presents for Christmas....

A Balamory DVD!

My very own dog called Amber, just like Grandma and Grandpa's dog.

Jemima Puddleduck from Grandma and Grandpa.

And a huge box! Definitely one of the highlights of the day!

Chocolate!

Staying at Grandma and Grandpa's house for Christmas has been great fun....especially because Grandma lets me eat chocolates from the Christmas tree! Yummy!

Hmmm, I wonder if I can get all of this in my mouth at once.

What!? Where'd it go?

Mikulás!

I had a great surprise waiting for me when I woke up on December 6th. The Mikulás had been! He left me presents! I'm not exactly sure yet who this Mikulás person is, but mummy says he comes every year and gives chocolates and presents to all the good girls and boys in Hungary.

I think I must have been really good because I got a musical instrument set, which I love (and played with for about an hour before even looking at the other presents!)

There was also a big box I wasn't so sure about.....

But I was relieved to see it was nothing to be scared of. I love my new car...and I like to keep my musical instruments hidden under the seat. And now I have a cool place to sit when I'm watching Balamory.
